Newcastle Falcons have made 11 changes from the side that lost to Western Force for Sunday's second pre-season friendly away at Leeds Carnegie.

South African forward Russell Winter captains the side, while fly-half Rory Clegg makes his first team debut.

Coach Steve Bates will wait until the completion of the Middlesex Sevens and a number of late fitness tests before finalising his bench.

Definitely out though are David Wilson, Jonny Wilkinson and Jamie Noon.
