Booth's side are currently fifth in the Premiership |
London Irish head coach Toby Booth fears Topsy Ojo, David Paice, Alfredo Lalanne and Peter Richards may not play again this season. Booth, whose side are without a game until 28 March, told BBC Berkshire: "We've got a few bangs and bruises. "Topsy Ojo's got a bang on his knee. We're assessing that. It doesn't look like it will be a short-term one. That will be another six to eight weeks. "David Paice might be the same, Alfredo the same and Pete Richards the same." With the last match of the season scheduled for 8 May, it leaves all wing Ojo, hooker Paice and scrum-halves Lalanne and Richards with a race against time to be part of the Exiles' run-in. And lock Nick Kennedy is already a doubt for their home clash with Sale at the end of the month. Booth added: "Nick Kennedy hurt his knee against Leicester, so it continues." London Irish have already conceded that Sailosi Tagicakibau and Clarke Dermody are unlikely to play again this season after undergoing surgery.
