Jeanjean won the last of his nine caps against Australia in 2002

Leicester Tigers head coach Richard Cockerill hopes to wrap up the signing of ex-Stade Francais full-back Nicolas Jeanjean, reports BBC Radio Leicester

The 28-year-old, who has won nine caps for France, played for the club in last Friday's pre-season game with Blues.

Cockerill said: "We'd like to keep him. We're in talks and hopefully that will be settled by the end of the week."

Jeanjean can also play on the wing and will provide cover for injured duo Alex Tuliagi and Geordan Murphy.
