Adam has always been the kind of player who will do whatever it takes to win
Leicester Riders coach Rob Paternostro
Leicester coach Rob Paternostro has swooped to sign his former Riders team-mate Adam Williams for a second spell with the club.
The 26-year-old played alongside Paternostro in 2006/07 and they were also team-mates at Birmingham.
"It's exciting. He is a player I know a lot about," Paternostro said.
"Even at just 26 he is an experienced BBL player now - I think this will be his seventh season in the league - and he will add depth to our squad."
In the 2007/08 season Williams averaged a career-high 15 points and five rebounds per game for Birmingham and last season he played for Worcester Wolves.
Williams spent another three seasons in the BBL with Birmingham prior to joining the Riders.
Paternostro added: "Adam has always been the kind of player who will do whatever it takes to win. I have always been impressed with how hard he plays, both in practice and in games.
"He's a good shooter and can attack the basket well, I'm happy to have him on board."
Williams will also be heavily involved with the club's community development and schools programmes.
