Ellis wants victory in this season's last game at Welford Road
Leicester's Harry Ellis wants to make amends for last week's defeat when they face Sale on Saturday after admitting they underperformed at Newcastle.
The scrum-half had not played for the Tigers since before Christmas following suspension and his England selection.
He told BBC Radio Leicester: "I just love playing for the club. I wanted to go straight back in."
"Hopefully we'll put a lot of things right this week for a big game at home," he added.
Ellis, 26, also wants a win in the final game at Welford Road this season before the Members Stand comes down.

The stand has been a feature of Welford Road since the First World War but is scheduled to be removed during April as part of the redevelopment of the stadium which will take the capacity up to 24,000 in time for the start of next season.
"It's nice to see the stadium evolving and it's a sign of where the club is going," Ellis added. "As a player you want to play in front of the big crowds and I'm sure it'll be like that."
The Leicester-born player has seen the stadium change a number of times since the days of amateur rugby because he was a fan as a small boy and came to games with his family.
"I was always on the terrace and, before the Alliance & Leicester Stand was built, I used to stand behind the goals and try to catch the ball when it went through the posts," he added.
