Rob Paternostro is still waiting on a new deal for next season. |
The Leicester Riders head coach Rob Paternostro says he is still awaiting talks about a new deal for next season. The Riders need to beat Worcester in their final game to give them a top-four finish and home advantage in the quarter-finals of the play-offs. Paternostro told BBC Radio Leicester: "Hopefully something can be worked out soon, but right now who knows?" The Riders game against the Worcester Wolves tips off at the John Sandford Centre on 18 April at 1930 BST. Paternostro added: "Obviously I've enjoyed my time here, it's been a wonderful season with these guys. "I enjoy the fans and the people working for the club, it's been really special for my first job. "The powers-that-be have told me they're happy with what's gone on here but you have to start looking to next year."
