Leeds Carnegie hooker Andy Titterrell signs new deal
Leeds hooker Andy Titterrell won the first of his five England caps in 2004
Leeds hooker Andy Titterrell has agreed a contract to remain at the club until at least the end of the current season.
The former England international, 29, joined Leeds on a three-month deal in November, having been without a club since leaving Gloucester last summer.
His deal was due to expire following Sunday's clash with Wasps. But director of rugby Andy Key said: "We have agreed an extension with Andy.
"He's fitted in extremely well and has been able to use his vast experience."
Five-times capped former England hooker Titterrell added: "It is a massive privilege to continue playing here.
"The coaching staff have been great with me since I arrived and I have settled in well with the other guys.
"Leeds have given me an opportunity to play in the Guinness Premiership and hopefully I have been able to reward that faith with my performances in recent weeks.
"I am now focused on Sunday's game against Wasps and building on last week's win at Sale."
