Lawson has 22 Scotland caps and is in his fifth season at Kingsholm |
Scrum-half Rory Lawson says Gloucester must not be complacent against Rovigo in the Amlin Challenge Cup on Saturday. Gloucester won the home game 90-7 at Kingsholm in October and will be targeting another bonus point win. Lawson told BBC Gloucestershire: "They are a proud side, and like any team at home they'll look to come out and play with a lot of attitude and aggression. "We're travelling into Europe, we need to get our heads round that and put in a performance off the back of it." Gloucester will be hoping for an Agen victory against La Rochelle on Thursday to keep the group alive going into the final round of matches next week. Lawson added: "We've got to fully respect what Rovigo are and keep improving our performances away from home. "We've got to understand how we back up the performance against Exeter again and again. You've got to use your natural abilities and we can't go into our shells."
