Olly Morgan has played down his chances of an England call in the near future.

The Gloucester full-back won two England caps back in 2007, but is still working his way back to top form after a hamstring injury two months ago.

"It's a World Cup year, everybody wants to get in to that and I can safely say I'm quite a way off it," Morgan told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.

"It's just purely down to injuries and being in and out of the mix and performing consistently."

The 24-year-old added: "I know that I need to continue with that and we'll see what happens - I'm just really enjoying the fact we're winning and we're third in the Premiership."
