James Forrester is set to continue his comeback in Bayonne

Gloucester assistant coach Bryan Redpath believes there is more to be learned in this pre-season than usual.

Gloucester play Bayonne in France on Tuesday night and, as well as new players bedding in, there are new laws to get to grips with.

Redpath told BBC Gloucestershire: "The game will be a little quicker around the contact area because you can't slow the ball down."

James Forrester, Lesley Vainikolo and Mike Tindall are all in a squad of 24.
