Gloucester-bound Olly Barkley cannot wait to resume his international career against New Zealand this weekend. Barkley, who will play at inside centre against the All Blacks at Auckland's Eden Park, has not played for England since the World Cup. "Steve Borthwick has instilled into the guys that it needs to be a huge performance from everyone," he said. "It'll be hard. We have to take our intensity to a level we haven't reached for the last six to 12 months." England's team contains two other Gloucester players, Mike Tindall and Luke Narraway. And Barkley knows the All Blacks must not be allowed to control the match. "They have a massive aura around them and the jersey they put on," the former Bath man told BBC Sport. "Some people put them on a pedestal because they are the All Blacks and with all due respect they've earned that. "I think we need to challenge them and pressurise them. If you don't do that, you can expect a pretty tough day."
