Barrett made 94 appearances during his first spell at Exeter |
Exeter Chiefs have re-signed scrum-half Kevin Barrett two years after he left Sandy Park to join Saracens. The 30-year-old, who has penned a two-year contract, spent four seasons with the Devon outfit before moving to Saracens in 2009. Barrett said: "I'm looking forward to being a part of the Chiefs again. "I gained a lot of experience from being at Saracens and I am relishing the chance to play for the Chiefs at Premiership level." During his previous spell with Exeter, Barrett played 94 games scoring 18 tries. "It will be great to get the chance to play with some old faces," he added. "I am very impressed at the way the Chiefs have adapted to Premiership life. "However, I am not surprised at how well they have done. "The club has an incredible work ethic and I always knew Exeter would thrive in the Premiership once they got their chance."
