Edinburgh prop Ryan Grant has ended his loan spell with Exeter Chiefs.

The Scotland A international, 22, joined the National League One side on 3 March in a deal that was supposed to last until the end of the season.

But with Brett Sturgess and Dan Parkes fit again, and Joe Horn-Smith back from England Students duty, opportunities for Grant at Sandy Park were limited.

Exeter's director of rugby Pete Drewett said: "We could not guarantee a lot of rugby for Ryan."
