Cardiff Blues have appointed two new coaches including promising young Australian Billy Millard and former scrum-half Gareth Baber. Millard, 38, joins on a two-year deal in July as assistant coach from his current role as backs coach to the Australian A team. Baber, 36, also joins in a coaching role from his position as Wales Sevens assistant coach. The former Newport Gwent Dragons player started his career at Cardiff RFC. The region have brought in the coaches following former backs coach Rob Howley's move to the Wales management team. Blues director of rugby David Young said: "Billy is one of Australia's most promising young coaches and we believe his ambition and drive will be good for our wider team. "Gareth has already impressed since Rob's departure and both men will be valuable assets as we look to build on the platform of last season."
