McMillan will join Bath for the 2010/11 season |
Glasgow Warriors scrum-half Mark McMillan will join Bath in the summer, the club has announced. McMillan, 26, has had two spells at the Scottish club since 2003 and has also played for Leeds and Wasps. McMillan said: "I am really looking forward to becoming part of a club with a rich history and a bright future." Bath coach Steve Meehan added: "Mark challenges opposition defences around the ruck and is always a threat with his darting runs." McMillan has captained Scotland Under-18s and currently plays for his country's A team. "He is physical player with a fine pass and accurate kicking game," Meehan added. McMillan has been playing second fiddle to Scotland captain Chris Cusiter at Firhill this season. "Leaving Glasgow was a very tough decision to make but one I felt I had to do for both rugby and personal reasons," he explained. "I've had some great experiences during my two spells with Glasgow. I hope to leave with even greater memories by achieving a top four finish and a place in the play-offs."
