Magne doubts England's creativity
Olivier Magne makes a point after scoring a try for France
Magne has played 10 times against England
France flanker Olivier Magne has accused England of lacking creativity ahead of Sunday's Six Nations showdown.

The London Irish flanker hopes to exploit that as France go into the game on the back of three wins in their last four Six Nations matches with England.

"English rugby is based on physical strength, discipline, seriousness and determination," the 32-year-old said.

"However, they struggle to get out of their pre-established game plan. They probably lack creativity."

Magne, capped 85 times by France, has first-hand experience of English rugby after joining Premiership side London Irish from Clermont-Auvergne.

A win would erase some of the disappointment of our previous performances
Olivier Magne
"They can get easily lost when they are unsettled," he added.

Veteran Magne returned to Six Nations action against Ireland on 11 February after a chaotic 2005 season which saw him suffer a serious foot injury and leave France for England.

He knows France will need to piece together the positive aspects of inconsistent wins against Ireland and Italy if they are going to be successful this weekend.

"We are going to try to combine our good performances from our first half against Ireland and our second half against Italy, then we should be fine," he said.

"A lot of things can happen during a match. A win would erase some of the disappointment of our previous performances."

We are under no illusions this is going to be an extremely tough match
Joe Worsley
However, England's Joe Worsley knows the Stade de France clash will decide whether his team leave Paris on Sunday night as major title contenders or tournament also-rans.

Wasps flanker Worsley, who wins his 48th cap this weekend, was in England's starting line-up for the past two failed Paris missions.

"It is just such a difficult place to go to and win a game," he said. "The only way you are going to win it is by really fronting up and having a physical battle with them.

"Normally, every time they play us they seem to come out of the blocks flying.

"We are under no illusions this is going to be an extremely tough match."
