Abbott faces minor op
Stuart Abbott in action for England
Abbott is expected to be replaced by Olly Barkley
Wasps centre Stuart Abbott is going home early from England's summer tour to have a minor shoulder operation.

Abbott was injured in Saturday's 36-12 defeat by New Zealand in Auckland.

He has been ruled out of the World Cup final rematch against Australia in Brisbane this weekend and is expected to be replaced by Olly Barkley.

England coach Sir Clive Woodward is also sweating on the fitness of flanker Richard Hill, prop Trevor Woodman and centre Mike Tindall.

Props Mike Worsley and Will Green arrived in Australia on Tuesday to bolster the England squad after playing in the Churchill Cup final defeat to the New Zealand Maoris in Canada.
