There is a lot of anticipation in New Zealand as England head south of the equator and I think it is going to be a fantastic series.
I don't think you can underestimate this England side and I don't think the new All Blacks coach Graham Henry will allow that to happen.
They are missing a lot of experienced players with the likes of Martin Johnson and Neil Back retired and Jonny Wilkinson and Phil Vickery injured.
The All Blacks forwards need to be 'more robust' |
It would be easy to write them off but the All Blacks have got to make sure their attitude is right and not take the mickey. This England side are still the world champions - they will be for the next few years - and they will want to prove that.
They have a lot of young guys who are really going to get chucked into the fire.
New Zealand will want to play well and beat this English side, and there will be a little bit of revenge to be had after last summer.
They will be thinking about that match in Wellington when they got beat even when England were down to 13 players.

That is not something they will enjoy dwelling on and they need to find a far more robust performance this time. The All Blacks forwards must be physical, intimidating, accurate and precise, and get their scrums and line-outs working well.
They need to get the platform right up front, which should not be that difficult.
But New Zealand have struggled to do that for the last couple of years and when the crunch has come on, they have not stepped up to the plate.
I am still going for New Zealand to win though, although I don't think they will hammer England. It will be close and should be a great series.
The All Blacks need to win 2-0 to feel good about themselves, but 1-1 would be a victory for England with the squad they are taking down there.
