Final score: Wales 17-43 New Zealand 80 mins (+9): With the game all but over Regan King turns on the style and adds another try. 80 min (+5): New Zealand have not intention of letting Wales back into the game. They role over the Wales back line leaving substitute Kees Meeuws to cross for a try. 80 mins (+3): Wales don't give up and once more search for a score. 80 mins: Any hope of getting back into the game is killed immediately as Doug Howlett scores his second try. 78 mins: Wales are now the team on the attack. The All Blacks are too strong, but Wales get another scrum five metres out. They drive over and get a penalty try as the ball is kicked out of the scrum. The crowd go wild. 76 mins: Wales get a scrum close to the New Zealand line. They spread the ball wide but hit a wall of black shirts. 72 mins:Harris takes the off-load from Mark Jones and tries to work some magic. Ben Blair comes across to stop the threat. 70 mins: Wales try to inject some pass into the game as Rhys Williams storms down the line. Sonny Parker takes the ball from him but is brought down by three All Black defenders. 68 mins: Wales finally get out into the All Blacks half as Harris kicks the ball out of danger. 66 mins: New Zealand are in total control. Wales captain Colin Charvis, who wins his 50th cap, his pulled up for not making the ball available on the ground. 43 mins: New Zealand take the lead for the first time in the game as Andrew Mehrtens plants a penalty between the posts. 41 mins: The 74,000 strong crowd will hope that the second half is a repeat of the first. They were treated to some fine attacking rugby. 1531 GMT: Stephen Jones kicks off the second half. Half-time: Wales 10-9 New Zealand 40 mins (+8): The South African ref Tappe Henning blows up to end the first period. Wales go in with a one point lead. 40 mins (+7 mins): Wales are awarded a penalty but Jones can only hit the post. 40 mins (+5): Wales manage to get some possession and begin to attack. The Welsh crowd again sing hoping to help the men on the pitch. 40 mins (+3): Wales need the referee to blow for half-time, as the All Blacks keep up the pressure. 40 mins: Wales are penalised for playing the ball on the floor. Mehrtens converts a penalty from under the posts. 38 mins:Andrew Mehrtens has a chance to make it three out of three, but can't convert a penalty from 40 metres out. 37 mins: Wales will be happy to end the first-half ahead, but the All blacks once more pile on the pressure. 34 mins:Lomu pushes Gareth Thomas away like a small child as he takes the ball from his 22. 33 mins: The Millennium Stadium pitch is starting to cut up. Both sets of players are slipping. 30 mins:The pressure is mounting on Wales. New Zealand are throwing every ball they get wide in an attempt to pull the Wales back-line apart. 28 mins: New Zealand have a scrum on the Wales five metre line. Nothing comes out of the backs move as Wales once again clear the ball down the pitch. 25 mins: Danger for Wales as the All Blacks go in search of their first try. The Wales defence is on top form stopping any black shirt that runs at them. 24 mins: Human bulldozer Jonah Lomu goes on his first run of the game. It takes two Wales defenders to bring him down. 23 mins: New Zealand work the ball well in midfield. Doug Howlett is tackled and spills the ball. 20 mins: Bread of Heaven echo's around the Millennium Stadium as Stephen Jones pushes a penalty wide. 19 mins:Dwayne Peel kicks the ball over Jonah Lomu from the back of a scrum.
