The team will be captained by Western Province flanker Corne Krige. Bulls flanker Pedrie Wannenburg and Western Province centre Jean de Villiers are called up from the World Cup winning U-21 side.
"It's an exciting squad filled with talented young players who have put up their hands during this year's Currie Cup," Straeuli said. "Certain players weren't considered because of injury. They will be undergoing rehabilitation. "This is going to be a tough tour and our first match against France is a key fixture because we all know how good they are in Marseille." One of the surprise omissions was 19-year-old Bulls flyhalf Derick Hougaard who earlier in the day had steered the Bulls to victory in the Currie Cup final over the Lions.
