Burns gets Scots call
Scrum-half Graeme Burns has captained Scotland A
Graeme Burns is the latest replacement for Scotland
Scotland have been forced to make a fourth change to their tour party for June's six-match trip to Canada and the USA.

Glasgow scrum-half Graeme Beveridge has had to withdraw after failing to recover from the knee injury he sustained in match against Cardiff in April.

His place is taken by the experienced Edinburgh captain Graeme Burns.

30-year-old Burns has made three replacement appearances for Scotland and captained the international A side last season.

On Monday, Saracens hooker Rob Russell withdrew on account of a back injury, with Steve Brotherstone being called up in his place.

The Newcastle Falcons player has made seven apperances for Scotland before, the last of which came against Samoa in 2000.

There were two personnel changes made last week with Glasgow's Gordon McIlwham pulling out due to personal commitments and his place has been taken by Borders' recent signing Bruce Douglas.

The 22-year-old former Heriot's prop has joined Scotland's newly-created professional team having completed one season with NEC Harlequins.

Earlier, Glasgow lock Andrew Hall was drafted into Scotland's squad.

The 22-year-old second-row replaced Sale's Iain Fullarton, who was ruled out with a hip injury.
