Colin Gregor was the hero as Glasgow achieved their best result of the season when they defeated Munster in the Celtic League at Thomond Park. Stand-in fly-half Gregor scored a try and kicked 16 points as the Warriors downed the long-time league leaders.
Munster led 17-13 at half-time with Anthony Foley, Stephen Keogh and Anthony Horgan all touching down.
But Gregor, who set up a first-half try for Sam Pinder, sealed a great win with 13 points in the second half.
Munster started off in great style with skipper Foley crashing over in the third minute after a good series of pick-and-drive play by the pack.
However, loose tackling three minutes later allowed Gregor to dart through and send Pinder away under the posts which the fly-half converted.
Gregor added a penalty before a driving maul saw flanker Keogh touch down for Munster.
After Gregor landed another penalty, a neat piece of play in the Munster midfield allowed Horgan to sprint clear to score with Mossie Lawlor adding the conversion.
But after the break it was the Gregor show. He banged over a penalty, then was on hand to cross for a try after a Munster mistake and a breakout by Glasgow.
The fly-half's boot took Glasgow nine points ahead with Munster's only reply coming from a Lawlor penalty 10 minutes from the end.
Despite a huge effort from the home side in the last few minutes, Glasgow held out for a well-deserved victory.
