Wales captain Gareth Thomas warmed up for next Sunday's Heineken Cup final with two tries for Toulouse in their 47-20 league win at home to Castres. The result moved the double European champions to third place and virtually assured them a top four play-off place.
Toulouse are now two points ahead of fourth-place Biarritz, and eight points ahead of fifth-place Perpignan with just two games to go.
But fly-half Frederic Michalak could miss the Murrayfield final with injury.
