This weekend the two biggest teams in English rugby and both potential European champions line up for part two of their Heineken Cup pool one double header.

Las weekend's game at the Causeway Stadium - round one - went to Leicester, with round two looming at Welford Road on Sunday.

Wasps director of rugby Warren Gatland has billed it as a virtual Test series such are the calibre of players. There will be six players in action who started last November's World Cup final.

Here BBC Sport rates each side after the Tigers' 37-31 victory and sees how Wasps can turn it around a week on.

FRONT ROW

LEICESTER
Simply put, Graham Rowntree and Julian White were absolutely awesome, and virtually tore the Wasps pack asunder on their own with their ferocious scrummaging skills.

WASPS
Sunday won't have been a day the trio of Will Green, Phil Greening and Craig Dowd will want to remember in a hurry. But they've got too much talent not to bounce back.

How can Wasps put it right? Judging by last week's form, the Londoners need a minor miracle. They had no answer to White in particular, former All Black Dowd had one of the worst days of his career and Wasps face an anxious wait over the fitness of Greening and Trevor Leota.

SECOND ROW

LEICESTER
Martin Johnson and Louis Deacon added extra bite to the front five, and still enjoy the option of bringing in England's Ben Kay to the fray at any time.

WASPS
A line-out indiscretion cost them a try but otherwise Simon Shaw and Richard Birkett were in fine form in the set pieces and with ball in hand in open play.

How can Wasps put it right? Leicester only just nudged the battle of the second rows. Some better line-out throwing would undoubtedly help Wasps' cause, though.

BACK ROW

LEICESTER
Martin Corry grew in stature over the 80 minutes, just about edging Lawrence Dallaglio for class. Lewis Moody and Neil Back both ably assisted en route to victory.

WASPS
Dallaglio may have just about lost the tussle with Corry, but back-row team-mate Johnny O'Connor was simply immense. Joe Worsley was no slouch either in the game.

How can Wasps put it right? No need - pretty much all-square at the base of the scrum.

HALF-BACKS

LEICESTER
Harry Ellis was a sparky livewire from the outset, revelling in the work of his pack. Andy Goode kept his cool for the game-winning kicks.

WASPS
Matt Dawson played the majority of the game with one good leg, but still showed his class. Alex King also ran the lines well just outside him.

How can Wasps put it right? If Dawson is fully fit, expect him to get the better of Ellis. It's not often someone leaves him as second best in back-to-back games. Wasps can also keep their fingers crossed Goode has one of those off-days that occasionally crop up.

BACKS

LEICESTER
Daryl Gibson and Ollie Smith were absolute rocks in midfield, Smith doing no harm to any future England career opposite rival Stuart Abbott.

WASPS
Wasps were not quite at their best, Josh Lewsey struggling in defence. Mark van Gisbergen, though, kept them in the game with his kicking.

How can Wasps get it right? Backs coach Shaun Edwards will have drummed into them the importance of defence all week and, once tightened up, they should be back to their best of last season. Avoiding conceding 22 points in 18 minutes - a fate which befell them last week - will instill confidence and enable their running backs to gel more quickly.

TOTALS (OUT OF 50)

LEICESTER - 41

WASPS - 34
