Coventry have added to their back row with the signing of number eight Jonny Pelter from Watsonians. Pelter, 22, had been with the Scottish Premiership side while he completed a degree in Edinburgh. Originally with Bedford's academy, Pelter is a hard-running, tackling and tough number eight. Pelter will link up with a number of players retained from last season at the Butts Park Arena, including Dale Ager, Matt Tibbatts and Ben Russell.
