Hobson won an England cap in 2008 during his first spell at Bristol

Bristol prop Jason Hobson will remain at the club for the 2011/12 campaign after signing a new deal at the Memorial Stadium.

The 29-year-old returned to the Championship club after being released by Wasps in February.

"Jason is a very talented prop who can play on either side of the scrum," said chief executive Steve Gorvett.

"He has done well since his return to Bristol and will be a very strong addition to next season's squad."
