Hobson's contract at Wasps was ended by mutual consent

Championship side Bristol have re-signed prop Jason Hobson following his release by Wasps.

The 27-year-old, who played 62 games for Bristol before leaving in 2009, has agreed to stay at the Memorial Stadium until the end of the season.

"We've been left with only three props and this could have put us in a vulnerable position at an important time," said head coach Paul Hull.

"We're very pleased to welcome Jason back to the club."
