Nottingham Rugby have signed Spanish full-back Cesar Sempere Padilla for next season.

The 26-year-old goal-kicker, who has 33 international caps, joins the Green and Whites following a spell with French side Montpellier.

Director of Rugby Glenn Delaney told the club website: "Cesar is a very impressive player and someone we have known about for some time.

"He will greatly add to our attacking capabilities for next season."

Delaney continued: "He will provide depth and competition at full back which we have needed for a couple of seasons now.

"I think he will fit with our attacking ethos and I am sure will be taken to heart by our fantastic supporters."

Sempere will join up with the squad for pre-season training later in June.
