Buxton joined Nottingham from Moseley in the summer

Nottingham Rugby prop Ben Buxton has signed a new one-year deal that will keep him at Meadow Lane until 2011.

The 30-year-old joined the Green & Whites last August after eight years with Moseley.

Buxton made 25 Championship appearances, although 19 of those came as a replacement.

Director of rugby Glenn Delaney said: "His durability makes him an important player in our team as he performs his role week in week out."
