Trailing by a point going into added time, Tyson Lewis scored a late try to send much relief around Rectory Field. After successive defeats in National Two South, meanwhile, Westcombe Park bounced back with a 20-13 win over newly promoted Clifton. Canterbury dropped two places in the table to fifth as they were thrashed 50-8 by unbeaten Ealing.
