Leeds Carnegie will host National League One rivals Coventry in the last 16 of the National Trophy.

Leeds reached the fifth round by beating National League Three South outfit Dings Crusaders 59-0.

Hooker Phil Nilsen told BBC Radio Leeds: "We have an opportunity to get to Twickenham and we want to do that. It would be a great reward."

The tie will be played at Headingley over the weekend of February 7/8th and the Twickenham final is on 18th April.

Their win over Dings keeps Leeds' unbeaten season intact and their dream of a league and cup double alive.

"It was great going to Dings and back to grassroots rugby," Nilsen added.

"They gave us a real fight and tried to play rugby the right way.

"They attacked us from every angle and the scoreline doesn't reflect what a test this was for us."

The West Yorkshire club used the Trophy tie as an opportunity to reintroduce players from long-term injuries.

Hooker Villi Ma'asi, prop Juan Gomez, flanker Hendre Fourie and John Dundar all made successful comebacks in Bristol.

Head coach Neil Back said: "For the greater goals this season we needed to get those guys some game time and this was the perfect opportunity.

"Henrie has been out with a broken hand, Villi has obviously missed most of the season and Juan hasn't played in the first team since the start of November.

"So it was a good exercise for us to get those guys playing again."

Leeds Carnegie return to National League One action on Sunday as they host London Welsh (kick-off 1500 GMT) and BBC Radio Leeds will have full match commentary on 774 AM, DAB and online at bbc.co.uk/leeds.
