Erinle joined the Green and Whites on loan in November |
Nottingham will face Cornish Pirates at home on Sunday without Ayoola Erinle but will see on-loan Leicester Tigers forward Dan Cole will make his debut. Erinle has returned to the Tigers after team-mate Dan Hipkiss picked up an injury against Bath at the weekend. Cole is due to start in the Green and Whites front row alongside Matt Parr and Joe Duffey. Director of rugby Glenn Delaney said: "[Cole] is very strong and will fit into our front row perfectly." | There is no doubt [Cornish Pirates] are one of the top sides in this league Nottingham director of rugby Glenn Delaney |
Delaney has also brought in Tom Youngs on loan from the Tigers, who has converted from centre to hooker this season and will provide cover for the injured Alex Loney. Jack Cobden will move into the centres to replace Erinle, and David Jackson will move to the wing on Sunday. Delaney said: "We were delighted with our win down in Cornwall at the start of the season and despite the [31-20] scoreline it was pretty close until we got the bonus point try in the dying minutes. "There is no doubt they are one of the top sides in this league and although they had a patchy start to the season, Mark Hewitt has pulled them around and they are a quality side."
