Delaney's Nottingham have not lost at Meadow Lane in a year |
Nottingham have been given a boost in their fight for survival after a season's best 2,200 crowd watched Sunday's 33-13 victory over Rotherham. The Green & Whites need 150,000 to make it through the end of the season and have already raised 15,000. Director of rugby Glenn Delaney told BBC Radio Nottingham: "I'm massively positive. The playing department have been fantastic. "Everyone is working hard to make sure we stay sustainable." The Meadow Lane crowd saw tries from Joe Duffey, Andy Savage, Tim Taylor and Jack Cobden. "The key thing the playing department can do is keep winning and keep winning well," Delaney added.
"We need to keep entertaining the crowd and encouraging more people to come."
