Nottingham have signed Leicester Tigers centre Ayoola Erinle, 28, on loan ahead of Sunday's home clash with Manchester.

The Green & Whites have an injury crisis in midfield after losing Tim Molenaar, Alex Dodge and Hong Kong international Mark Wright.

Director of rugby Glenn Delaney said: "I am really grateful that Leicester have been able to help us out.

"They were looking to get Ayoola some more game time, so it has worked really well for both parties."

Delaney said he wants maximum points from the home clash.

"Manchester have nothing to lose on Sunday and they will be throwing the ball around and testing our defence.

"But five-point Sunday is something we are used to at Meadow Lane and that has got to be our aim again this weekend.

"We are proud of our home record and I am sure the players will want to keep that."

Nottingham captain Craig Hammond is still out of the side with a groin injury.
