Harris has long been a target for Nottingham

Nottingham Rugby have signed front row forward Robbie Harris from the South African Natal Sharks.

The 26-year-old, who can play either side of the scrum, made his debut for the Sharks in the Currie Cup in 2006.

Director of rugby Glenn Delaney told the club website: "It was the one area we looked a bit short but that final place is now there."

The club also announced that second row Nic Rouse has moved to London Irish on a short term loan agreement.
