Nottingham's National League One campaign got off to a disappointing start with a 34-19 defeat to title favourites Leeds on Sunday.

Nottingham trailed Leeds by 14 points after just eight minutes of play.

They came back in the second half as Luke Sherriff scored their only try of the match and David Jackson boosted the score line with four penalties.

But tries from Hendrie Fourie, Rhys Oakley, Jonathan Hepworth and Tom Biggs ensured Leeds of a convincing win.
