Gloucester moved six points clear at the top of the table with a fine win.

Former Tigers player Leon Lloyd intercepted and raced to the line and the visitors were 14 points up via a penalty try after a scrum infringement.

Andy Goode missed two penalties for Leicester and was replaced but Tom Croft went past two tackles to score.

Fly-half Willie Walker danced his way through a tired Leicester defence to touch down and his conversion took his personal points haul to 20 points.

"We cocked up two soft tries in the first half and it's hard to chase the game when you are playing a good team like Gloucester, but we will learn.

"But I'm a little disappointed we missed two or three opportunities to make it more clear-cut and that would have removed the anxiety at the end.

"I thought we were very good in the first 20 minutes. We had great scrum pressure that created opportunities."
