Harry Ellis gets the ball away for Leicester on Saturday | Leicester 40 (19) Tries: Tuilagi, Penalty, Moody Cons: Goode 3, Vesty Pens: Goode 4Wasps 26 (14) Tries: Haskell, Erinle, McMillan Cons: Walder Pens: Van Gisbergen 3 Wasps missed out on the Premiership play-offs for the first time since their introduction as Leicester secured a home semi-final in some style. Wasps led 14-12 after James Haskell's try but Alesani Tuilagi's score gave the Tigers a 19-14 interval lead. A penalty try and further scores from Dan Hipkiss and Lewis Moody secured a bonus point for the hosts. Wasps rallied with tries from Ayoola Erinle and Mark McMillan, but it was insufficient to trouble the Tigers. They will now face Bristol at Welford Road next Saturday, with a 1730 kick-off. Tigers boss Pat Howard: "This result has no bearing on the Heineken Cup final. Two years ago we beat them here in the last round by a bigger margin and they killed us in the final two weeks later. "We scored some nice tries, but they asked us a lot of questions. "They will be well rested and will have players to add to the team, but we will be match-hardened." Wasps director of rugby Ian McGeechan: "We did a lot of good things up to half-time and then had a bad 10 minutes after the break. "We missed the kick-off, put ourselves in the corner and could not get out."
