England centre Mike Tindall will leave Bath at the end of the season after signing a three-year deal with their West country rivals Gloucester. Gloucester boss Nigel Melville said he was delighted to have signed Tindall.
"It was a big decision for Mike to make the move and we're delighted he's going to be part of the future at Kingsholm," Melville told Gloucester's website.
"He's a quality player and everyone at Gloucester is looking forward to his arrival in the summer."
The 26-year-old Tindall, who was an integral part of England's World Cup victory in 2003, said he did not want to leave Bath.
"I'm pretty angry at the whole affair," he told The Mail On Sunday newspaper.

"I've got so used to calling this place my home. I have a great relationship with the players, the coaching staff and most of the people in the office too."
Bath director of rugby, Jack Rowell, said: "We would like to think that as an impressive man on and off the field that Mike will be able to shake off his recent injuries.
"Perhaps an opportunity of a fresh start with Gloucester will help him to that end."
Tindall said he was relishing the chance to play at Gloucester's famous Kingsholm ground.
"Kingsholm is a great place to play rugby," he said.
"The crowd are very vocal and they put a lot of pressure on the opposition, making it even more difficult to win there.
"It'll be good to be on the other side of that wearing the Gloucester shirt."
