Tindall suffers freak hand injury
Mike Tindall in action for England in their recent autumn Tests
Tindall is just one of several injured England players
Mike Tindall's bad luck has continued, with a freak gym injury leaving him needing 30 stitches in a hand.

The centre was already out of England's Six Nations opener against Wales on 5 February because of a foot injury.

Despite Tindall's latest mishap, he is still expected to return for club side Bath in three weeks' time.

Tindall, who has been capped 41 times by the world champions, damaged his hand after getting it stuck between two heavy weights during a workout.

He was already sidelined after cracking a bone at the top of his second toe in a Heineken Cup match against Leinster at the end of October.

He returned to action briefly only for the problem to flare up again in England's November Tests.

Tindall also sustained a shoulder injury in the Heineken Cup defeat to Treviso on 4 December.

England are already without centres Stuart Abbott and Will Greenwood for the game against Wales.
