Australian fly-half Chris Malone has agreed a new one-year contract with Zurich Premiership leaders Bath. Malone provides back up for first-choice number 10 Olly Barkley but can also slot in at centre or full-back.
The 26-year-old has started 13 games for Bath this season, with two match-winning displays against London Irish being the most memorable.
Bath director of rugby Jack Rowell said: "He has become increasingly influential as a Premiership fly-half."
Malone becomes the 12th player to recently commit his future to Bath with Danny Grewcock, Olly Barkley, Steve Borthwick, Jonathan Humphreys, Andy Beattie, James Scaysbrook, Alex Crockett, Spencer Davey, Gareth Delve, Rob Hawkins and James Hudson all signing new deals.
Rowell added: "His footballing skills are excellent and his kicking both out of hand and at goal is exceptional."
