Chris Stirling's side have one six of their last seven league games |
Cornish Pirates coach Chris Stirling says his side are full of confidence ahead of Sunday's home match against table-topping Worcester. Pirates lie third in the Championship table, 18 points behind Warriors, but came out on top when the two sides met in the reverse fixture in October. Stirling told BBC Radio Cornwall: "The biggest encouragement for me is the team's confidence. "I can feel the confidence from the players coming through," he added. Pirates are on an impressive run of form, with just one league defeat in their last seven matches. "You can put skills into the players. You can put strategies and tactics into them, but the most difficult thing is to get the confidence into the team and get them to play well together," added Sterling. "We've got that and it is such an important factor."
