Plymouth Albion captain Skelding in Worcester warning

Skelding's Worcester currently lie eighth in the Championship

Plymouth captain Tom Skelding has warned Worcester not to take Albion lightly when the two sides meet in the British & Irish Cup on Saturday.

The Devon side are yet to win a match in the competition this season, while the Warriors are the runaway leaders of the Championship.

Skelding told BBC Radio Devon: "We've been to Worcester before and played well for 60 minutes.

"They are a team we are not scared of, we'll go up there and have a go."

He added: "As soon as our players put on a Plymouth Albion shirt, they are going to give it 100%."

The Devon club have ran Worcester close twice already this season, but have lost on both occasions, being defeated 33-13 at Sixways in November and 26-19 at the Brickfields in September.
