Plymouth Albion are hoping to stage more matches on Friday evenings to help bolster attendances at the Brickfields. Nearly 5,000 fans were at Albion's game against Bristol on Friday, 5 November - their biggest crowd of the season. Plymouth vice-chairman Terry Brown said: "We thought it might affect corporate revenue, but on that evidence the corporate was not affected. "It brought in a bigger crowd, and the bars after the game thrived much better than they do on a Saturday."
