Plymouth Albion picked up a valuable bonus point despite Sunday's 20-15 defeat at high-riding London Welsh. Albion started quickly, Alex Davies's drop-goal and three penalties putting them 12-5 ahead at half time. But the Exiles replied, Josh Drauniniu and Paul Sampson adding to a first-half Saul Nelson try, while Aled Thomas kicked one conversion and a drop-goal. All Albion, ninth in the Championship, could muster after the break at the Old Deer Park was another Davies penalty.
