Bristol have bolstered their squad for the 2010/11 campaign with the signings of winger Anthony Elliott and back-rower Jonathan Brandling-Harris.

Elliott, 29, who played for Bristol between 2007 and 2009 has signed until the end the season and Brandling-Harris, 24, until the end of the year.

"It's good to have cover and I'm really pleased to have those two signings," coach Paul Hull told BBC Radio Bristol.

Both players go into the match day squad for the trip to London Welsh.

Elliott, a former Newcastle winger, made eight Premiership appearances for Bristol before leaving the club to move to France two years ago.

More recently he has been turning out for fellow Championship outfit Birmingham and Solihull.

"Anthony's just re-located to Bristol with his family and as soon as he was made available to us we bit his hand off," said Hull.

"That's a position we need some strength in and he's got some good experience having played England Sevens."

Brandling-Harris is well travelled having turned out for Saracens, Blackheath and Launceston as well as spells abroad in Australia and New Zealand.

"Jonathan played his rugby in Italy last season but now lives in Bath and has been on trial for the last couple of weeks," added Hull.

"He's a back row player, predominantly a six, and we need cover in that position as well."
