Williams joined Warriors after playing at Moseley last season |
Worcester scrum-half Andy Williams says their fans must be patient as the club's coaching staff have still to find a settled line up. Warriors are undefeated after six games in the Championship but have been run close by Rotherham and Doncaster. Williams told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "Last season the fans were complaining, this season we're winning and they are still complaining. "I can see why people are saying it has not quite clicked as it's a new squad." The former Bath, Ospreys and Dragons half-back added: "Hilly [head coach Richard Hill] and Phil [forwards coach Phil Davies] have only just put the squad together. "It is a difficult a very difficult league, we are not playing against bad sides. | I can understand why people say we are a bit loose in some areas but we are only six games into the season and we have won all six." "We are all giving 100% and we came away at the weekend [against Moseley] with five points. "I can understand why people say we are a bit loose in some areas but we are only six games into the season and we have won all six." "Now the next four weeks are going to be four huge games and I think Richard and Phil have put 22 together and they will be the squad for the next four weeks." Williams, who won five caps for Wales, says working with former England scrum-half Hill has been a big boost to his game. "He is tremendous with me, it's a privilege to be working with him, when I first went to Bath he was still a legend there. "To have someone who has played at the highest level is a great advantage to me."
