Plymouth Albion finally secured their first win of the season at Damson Park thanks to the boot of fly-half Alex Davies, who racked up 26 points. Bees took an early lead through Geoff Griffiths but Davies then kicked three penalties for the visitors. Sione Tu'ipulota and Robin Copeland crossed for Albion in the second, as did Simon Hunt and Griffiths for Bees. Davies also got another two penalties, before intercepting the ball for a try of his own.
