Plymouth Albion's miserable start to the season continued as London Welsh condemned them to their fourth consecutive league defeat on Saturday. An Alex Davies penalty put Albion in front after 24 minutes, before Gordon Ross kicked two penalties to give Welsh a 6-3 lead at the break. Welsh pulled away in the second-half with tries from Errie Claassens and Hudson Tonga'uiha. Albion did then manage a late consolation try through George Porter. Simon Whatling slotted over a late drop-goal for the visitors to add extra gloss to the scoreline.
