Worcester Warriors ready for Dawe's tricks

Worcester Warriors head coach Richard Hill says he is expecting some tricks from his opposite number Graham Dawe at Plymouth Albion.

The former Bath team-mates clash in the Championship at the Brickfields and Hill says he has an idea of what might be coming.

"I know most of Dawe's tricks but no doubt he will have a couple new ones," Hill told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"If we don't have a drop of rain the pitch will probably be sodden."

Hill added: "I am expecting to have a small dressing room; he will lock up a couple of empty rooms for some reason.

They will be fired up, and we might get a big rebound and they will be better than they were at Bedford

"There will be lots of little tricks, he may have a couple of extra ones but I have got to know most of his tricks."

Hill says he is taking very little notice of Albion's hammering at Bedford on the opening day of the season.

"It was a surprising loss having seen them in pre-season and they looked an accomplished team.

"Graham Dawe will not be happy with that, he will be embarrassed and he will tell them that is not acceptable.

"They will be fired up and we might get a big rebound and they will be better than they were at Bedford."

Greg Rawlinson is the only change to the Warriors squad that beat Birmingham on the opening day of the season.

All Black lock Greg Rawlinson comes in on the bench, while Graham Kitchener will start in place of Crag Gillies who has an ankle injury.

Worcester Warriors: Arscott, Garvey, Crockett, Higgitt, Benjamin, Carlisle, Arr; C.Black, Shervington, Douglas, Bowley, Kitchener, Best, Abbott , Horstmann.

Replacements: Lutui, Taumoepeau, Rawlinson, Collins, Williams, Goode, Rasmussen.

There will be full commentary on Plymouth Albion against Worcester Warriors on Saturday, 4 September on BBC Hereford and Worcester 104 FM and online.
